Community Hall Burns Down

On Thursday, the community center located in New Brigden, was destroyed in a fire. The fire department arrived at the scene at 8 am, but the building was already completely engulfed in flames and could not be salvaged. On Friday, investigators will be investigating the cause of the fire. According to Shaune Kovitch, the fire chief in Oyen, the loss of the community hall is a tragic event for the town of New Brigden. The building had hosted a children’s Christmas concert on Wednesday evening.
